SouthCare Funeral Home's Hispanic Funeral Care service sponsors Georgia's First Hispanic Obituary Section

September 23, 2004 -- SouthCare Funeral Home's Hispanic Funeral Care service partners with Atlanta Latino and sponsors Georgia's First Hispanic Obituary Section in English and in Spanish.

Atlanta Latino, the largest bilingual weekly newspaper serving Georgia's Hispanic community, announced today the launching of its new Funeral Notice / Obituary Section.

The section will contain Hispanic Funeral Care information, death notices, memorials, and religious events. This is the first time a Hispanic publication has offered to its Latino readers a dedicated section that focuses on these important issues.

Many Hispanics have expressed interest in having a dedicated section in their community newspaper that caters to the needs of Hispanic loved ones who have passed. "With over 500,000 Latinos living in metro Atlanta, and that number growing rapidly, we felt it was time for families to have an organized section in their local community newspaper to announce funeral notices and memorials for friends and family who have passed," said Farid Sadri, president of Atlanta Latino, Inc.

The new section will be sponsored by, SouthCare Funeral Home and their Hispanic Funeral Care service. SouthCare is the first full-service Hispanic Funeral Provider in the state of Georgia. Chris Benavidez Nuzum, the company's Executive Director states: "We are excited to be sponsoring the new Funeral Notices / Obituary section in the Atlanta Latino newspaper because we see a heavily populated Hispanic city the size of Atlanta needing honest Hispanic Funeral Care services and a means to publicly honor their loved ones."
